Today is the first day of the One Room Challenge. What is the One Room Challenge you say? It is a bi-annual event where bloggers and instagramers participate to transform a space in their home. Every week the designers share their process and progress. How fun is that?
I've loved following along in years past, watching some of my favorite Instagram accounts transform their spaces. So this Spring I decided it was my turn to join this fun challenge. In the course of 6 weeks, I will give my kitchen a makeover. Don't get me wrong, I have a fine kitchen. It just needs an "extra" boost. Something to take it from ordinary to extraordinary. My goal is to do everything under $1500.00. I'm keeping my appliances (they are only 3 years old) and doing all labor myself along with my husband. This is my current kitchen view. It about to get a boost of color!
This is my little inspiration board. Green is going to be the theme definitely.
So lets see how far I can get with countertops, sink, wallpaper, and paint! I can't wait!
